Charlize Theron recently shaved her head and many people were wondering why? Well, it turns out that she doesn’t have cancer and she’s not pulling a Britney Spears. It’s actually for her role as Furiosa in the upcoming movie Mad Max: Fury Road. According to People:

A rep for Theron confirms to PEOPLE that she shaved her head last week for her role as Furiosa in the upcoming movie Mad Max: Fury Road. The action film, which costars Tom Hardy, starts shooting next month in Africa. – read more

I guess we can expect to see Charlize wearing hats for the next few months. Hopefully those beautiful golden locks will grow back soon.

Charlize Theron has been very busy lately. She’s been promoting Snow White and the Huntsman, Prometheus and doing photoshoots for magazines like InStyle. What’s next, going into outer space? Maybe…according to this recent interview:

Charlize Theron wants to go into space.

The ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ actress – who adopted a baby boy named Jackson in March – thinks it would be a “scary” experience, but would love to be onboard Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic commercial space flights.

She said: “I’m totally open to going up in space. Isn’t Richard Branson doing it? But I hear it’s expensive! You can go up for $200,000. I’m open to all of that stuff. I’m sure it would be scary, but hopefully I’d just be going to see what it looks like, so I’d be coming back. I wouldn’t miss anything here because I try to live in the present.” – read more

Charlize Theron has a new sci-fi flick coming out in June called Prometheus. The film is directed by Ridley Scott and there’s going to be aliens, spaceships and a bunch of other geeky stuff. Oh by the way, did I mention Charlize Theron is in it? You know the beautiful woman that’s on the cover of Vogue (UK).

I can never complain about Charlize Theron photos. Except when she looks like this (warning)!  Charlize Theron would never have had a career if she actually looked like that.

Charlize Theron almost made it to the gym without being noticed. Fortunately, the paparazzi were able to snap some photos as she went up the escalator.

If there is anyone to play the role of the Evil Queen in Snow White it’s Charlize Theron.  All you have to do is watch Charlize in Monster to know that.  However, that’s not the case when trying to find someone for the role of The Huntsman in the new Snow White and the Huntsman film.  Hugh Jackman was offered to play the Huntsman, but has since declined the role.  According to EW:
