Glass ceilings still abound, but in the music industry, a group of young women are busting it down.
On our list of the 10 highest-paid celebrities under 30, women take six spots, and four of the top five, led by Taylor Swift at No. 1. We estimate that between May 2011 and May 2012, Swift earned $57 million. Each of the 22-year-old singer’s three albums have gone platinum at least four times, meaning that in these days of waning music sales, Swift can be counted on to sell at least 4 million copies of every album. – read more
Barbara Palvin is one of my Top 10 lingerie models for 2012. And guess what? She’s hotter than Kate Upton. There…I said it. Anyone who disagrees can suck it because you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Have any of you heard the music of Ukrainian DJ Juicy M? Yeah, me neither, but she sure is a hottie. I’d like to watch her shake her booty while she spins that House music of hers. I’m guessing the M stands for her name Marta Snitkina and the “Juicy” stands for…something else.
If you watch Family Guy raise your hand. I’m guessing 95% of our visitors raised their hands just now. And if you watch Family Guy then I’m sure you know about the new movie Ted by Seth McFarlane. However, you may not know the relatively unknown actress Jessica Barth. She plays Tami-Lynn in the movie. The movie is rated-R for crude and sexual content. I haven’t seen the film yet, but I’m hoping that Jessica Barth plays a part in all that crude and sexual content stuff.
Not only is Kirsty Gallacher in pristine shape, but she also manages to maintain her hard body while juggling a TV presenter job and taking care of two kids. But hopefully she doesn’t let herself go now that she has switched up her daily routine. According to the Daily Mail:
The 36-year-old mother-of-two revealed she was struggling to strike a work-life balance thanks to her early morning shifts on Sky Sport’s Good Morning Sports Fans. The 3am wake-up calls meant she was unable to take son Oscar, five, to school and left her so tired she would become bad-tempered with him and two-year-old Jude.
‘I was just so tired. By 4pm I became a monster,’ she told Fabulous magazine. ‘I’d feed the kids and then I’d be shouting at them at bath time because I didn’t have any patience. I’d apologise to Oscar for being bad-tempered and try to make him understand that it was because I was tired from work.’
Kirsty, who is married to former England rugby player Paul Sampson, 34, said she realised she had to put her family first and so told Sky bosses she was quitting the breakfast show.
‘I love my job, but I also love my kids and I love my husband. I want to be a good wife and mother,’ she said.
Luckily for Kirsty, she was able to transfer to a different role within the broadcasting company and now presents on Sky Sports News – which involves afternoon shifts. – read more
